The collection of work features enamel on 18ct gold and silver, with fine gold wire and gold leaf. The enamel colours are complemented with the use of semi precious beads and stones to produce a series of brooches, necklaces, earrings and cufflinks.
Some pieces are finely engraved and enamelled whereas others are bold and painterly,
using transparent enamels with bright opaque colours and subtle fine gold details.
Most of the work incorporates traditional jewellery and enamelling techniques.
Sheila undertakes commissions for larger enamelled silver pieces - beakers, spoons, vases working from detailed watercolour drawings inspired by a customer's request.
